SolutionPoint+ Crisis Communications for Dispatchers

This 16-hour course is designed for dispatchers, call-takers and communication supervisors. In the training, participants learn advanced verbal communication skills and the various ways to respond to a person experiencing a crisis over the phone. Participants then learn the dynamics of serious mental illness and the complex social problem of suicide. “Back-to-back” scenario exercises are utilized to build the skills of the participants.
